Illusions

Just a few things seen recently…

A Horse Raising Her Head

A little Animal (Bat?) nestled at base of Cypress tree

Shadows of Bluebonnets

Shadow of Umbrella Plant Branch

Heart One

Heart Two

Heart Three

These hearts were scratched into the path from the parking lot to the entrance of The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Just seeing them made me smile.

Wishing you small joys and smiles today and everyday

Born and raised in Central Texas. Spending time outside brings me joy and I love to share my observations. I also belong to two writing groups and enjoy researching my ancestors. I find people interesting, but Nature keeps me sane.

  1. The Cypress tree base is amazing. I do admire trees. My favorite of your photos is the shadows of bluebonnets. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Periodically, there is a large heart drawn in the dirt near the top of Mt. Tabor. This is close to where I live. But I do see all kinds of creatures (real and embedded in flora) deeper in the wilderness. Sometimes they frighten me. Great pics!
